A member of the Leicester LEP Business Board, Arnab was appointed to the Cabinet Office SME Panel in 2016, and advises government on policy and engagement with small and medium sized businesses as well as prime suppliers. He identifies the barriers for SME's in selling to government, and devises ways to remove those barriers, promoting transparency, efficiency and accessibility. Arnab is currently Chair of the SME panel working group on the Social Value Act and it's deployment throughout UK central government commissioning.
Arnab has also been a business owner and MD of the successful UK manufacturing business Texane for over 20 years, turning it into a specialist brand with a world wide reputation in its niche. He continues to help other businesses leverage and benefit from my many years of expertise and knowledge in research, product development and strategy implementation.
He is also the national policy lead for BAME businesses at the Federation of Small Businesses where he also leads on social value procurement.
